Prelude: We are a 27 and 29 year old couple, planning on getting married in Grand Cayman (second stop) - first time cruisers. Needless to say, I had the trip planned very early, so we had a hotel room for the night before the cruise (Super bowl Sunday in Miami).

Hotel: Sheraton Miami Mart Hotel - by the airport. This was convenient, because they had a free hotel shuttle from the airport. The hotel was very nice. We had a car scheduled to pick us up to take us to the port the next morning. We used A-1 Limousine service, because we were worried about not finding transportation, due to the Super bowl.

Embarkation: We arrived at 10:30 am and it went smoothly. We had to sit and wait until they would let us board, but we were among the first on the ship and the wait wasn't long. Read more
