Sail Date: Feb 2007

We sailed on the Century on February 5th on a 5 night cruise. Leaving from Miami our ports of call were Key West and Grand Cayman. We had sailed on the Century almost 4 years ago and wanted to see the changes that the ship had underwent with the 55 million dollar renovation project. Our past cruising experience is 25 cruises with RCI, 3 with Celebrity, 3 with HAL, and 1 with Norwegian.

Embarkation: We arrived at the pier at approximately 12:30pm. Upon arrival we parked our car in the parking lot immediately in front of the pier. This was a "cash only" lot and had to be payed in advance at the time of parking. Fortunately, we had the cash on us since we usually do not carry much cash on our personage. It would have been nice to be able to pay with a credit card.

Once we parked our car, we unloaded our luggage and wheeled it to the porters who happily helped us tag our luggage since we did not have pre-printed tags. We went directly to the counter where we checked in within 10 minutes. Then we got our cruise cards/cabin keys and were on our way. We were on the ship by 1:00pm. Celebrity gets an A+ for Embarkation.
