My family and I just returned from a 8 day abord the freedom. The port of call were beautiful the best stops were St. Kitts and the Turks and Cacios. We also stopped at St. Maarten and San Juan. I am have sailed on other cruise lines and several other carnival ships. I was not impressed with the freedom. I find the boat to be out dated and the decor was very tacky. The lay out of the boat is very confussing and not well orginized. My biggest complaint was the food and the long dinner/breakfast lines to eat in the dinne areas asigned to you . The lido deck was fair nothing seemed to have much flavior, you have to ask for real eggs , guys burgers was good the wok grill was poor, pizza was fair. I was looking forward to the great food but this ship is far from great. We had prime rib one night and lobster another but chicken every night cooked a different way. I feel I paid for for than i recieved in food quailty.I did enjoy my rooms. I had two balconys on the 6h floor midship and spent a lot of time there with my family. The staff was fair not as nice as other carnival ships but seemed to try. Did not care for the entertainment on this ship was bored bye most of it.
