I sailed on the 8 night May 24 cruise.
Embarkation and debarkation went smoothly.
Stateroom attendant was friendly and room was clean.
Grand Turk (cruise ship how on/off excursion taken) and St. Kitts (arranged private tour of island and fort) were enjoyable days
Areas for Improvement:
Guest Services-Cabin next to mine had a 2 year old who screamed nonstop. I made guest services aware immediately after the lifeboat drill. They acknowledged there was space available on the ship however the only alternative they provided was to move to a cabin on a lower deck (deck 1) that had very loud engine noise. They did not follow up to resolve the issue and the issue persisted the entire cruise.
Entertainment- The main shows were below the offerings of other cruise lines. The comedians in Punchliner were not very funny and repeated the jokes of previous shows comedians.
Fellow Guests- I noticed a lack of respect for fellow guests from the individuals in the dining room in the evening wearing t-shirts with profane messages to individuals taking food from the buffet without using tongs to individuals who decided to decided during the movie to start a game of ping pong and talk so loudly it was impossible to hear the movie.
Food- Food was hit or miss. It was disappointing that a lunch menu in the dining room is not offered on the ship. The ship offered brunch only. The dinner menu was very repetitive and there must have been a discount on short rib as it was placed on many dishes including the filet mignon and in the lasagna served in the Italian restaurant. It does not work well in lasagna.
I already have my next cruise booked but based on this experience it will not be on Carnival.
