Brilliant !! Yes you could say that about the majority of this cruise from Miami all the way down to Rio. 18 days on a 5* ship but it does have its flaws.

1] The biggest by Far are those Photographers that MSC seem to have installed at 6" centres along every possible gangway, corridor and eating venue. They were very pushy and I was astonished to find them blocking access every night to and from the theatre, so much so that it was clearly a safety issue which nobody in management seemed to take note. On one occasion I also came off a lift on level 7 above the Piano bar to find a photographer blocking the exit. GET A GRIP MSC. Too many people obviously on commission making a complete nuisance of themselves. The photo shop area had boxes and boxes of unsold photos at the end of the cruise. If this is supposed to a 'profit centre' within the ship it fails badly.

2] Theatre shows are of very poor quality not even close to the competition. Clearly penny pinching by MSC big time. On the 18 day cruise classical music was the main theme most nights. The entertainment in the bars was generally good.

Cabin Review

Good but has flaws - some serious.
