Least favorite Carnival Ship

Sail Date: May 2014
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Miami

My husband and I have been on 5 Carnival Cruises in the past 6 years and the Glory was by far our least favorite ship. We were very disappointed. The ship itself and the itinerary was fine. We were very disappointed in the menu in the main dining room as well as the poor selection of entertainment onboard.

This ship had a completely different menu and our selections were limited. When we asked for our favorite starter, the head waiter told us that it was now only offered in the dessert selection. No longer did we have the opportunity to order "Everyday Comfort Foods" when there were nothing else we liked on the main Entrée selection. Everyday Comfort Foods were not on the menu. Frequently we received our side dish after we had finished our main course and one day we did not receive it at all. Our Head Waiter, Valentine, told us that they were only allowed to carry 12 trays out at a time so they were unable to deliver our side dishes with our main course.

The More entertainment selection was very poor. We had always looked forward to going to a show after our early dinning. There were only about 3 shows the entire cruise and sometimes not until 10:00 p.m.. Less

Cabin review: Carnival Glory Balcony Upper 6340

Our cabin was great as well as our Stateroom Steward. We loved sitting on the Balcony.
