Ship Facts: Legend of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Legend of the Seas Deck Plans
Glad we did it, not sure would do again

This was our first experience of northern Europe and although we enjoyed it, not sure we would choose this itinery again. Partly this was due to the changeable weather. We had warmth and sunshine for the first 3 days but by the time we got to Helsinki it was 7 degress and drizzling. We had taken warm clothing but nothing for 7 degrees and we only spent an hour off the ship in what seemed like a deserted city on a winter day.

Stockholm was a delight and def somewhere we would go back to.

Lucky for us we were up early for our private tour of St. Petersburg and through immigration fairly quickly but we heard horror stories later of it taking hours to get through.

We booked ALLA tours in russia and would be happy to recommend them.

Food onboard was of a good standard with a good variety. We liked the main restaurant but had issues with the buffet. It was just too small to accommadate everyone and there were constant calls for folk to leave their tables if they had finished eating. It was also often too cold to eat outside. We often found it was easier to get breakfast in the main restaurant and lunch in the solarium.

Our cabin steward was great, its hard work keeping a cabin tidy with 4 people in it but we found some of the restaurant staff surly.

There was some good entertainment onboard in the evening and the atmosphere was mostly jolly.

Our inside cabin was tiny for 4-never again was an often used mantra.
