We have just returned from our first cruise experience. Looking through all the options we finally chose Thomsons Island Escape, all inclusive was a partial persuader.

We arrived at the ship and embarkation was quick and easy, we were on board at last. We made our way to our cabin and our luggage had beaten us to it, we had booked a suite and did not know what to expect, on opening the door our first reaction was WOW this is fantastic there were fresh flowers, fruit and two toilets a separate bedroom area and a lounge area.

The first day at sea was spent exploring the ship, checking out the bars and restaurants and other facilities. The ship may be a converted ferry but it is clean and well maintained, staff were in evidence all the time cleaning and hoovering constantly and has all we needed for our holiday.
