Left on a Thursday out of Bayonne - very easy embarkation. I love this port. It is only 45 mins from my house so we drive and leave the car in the lot. Never had a problem. Since this was the only ship leaving that day, the crowds weren't bad and we were on the ship by 11:30.
This was our 2nd time on this ship and I will am sad that she will be leaving the Bayonne Port. The ship is so pretty and just the right size.
Our cabin was a D1 Aft Balcony cabin. This cabin was so big!...and the balcony was huge. Two chairs, two lounge chairs and a table! Not seen very often on cruise ships. This room was just as big as a mini suite, but we paid the price of a Balcony. Since it is an Aft balcony, the walk from the elevator was a bit far, but it didn't bother us too much. With all the room in the cabin, it more than made up for it.
The food in the dining room was outstanding. We had "my time" dining and made reservations before we boarded. Never had to to wait. We were seated with the same waiter - Gopa - and he was great!
The entertainment was so-so. After the 1st show, we didn't mind if we missed any of the other shows :) However, there was a BonJovi Tribute band one night - Blaze of Glory. OMG, they were AMAZING! They also played an acoustic session one day and that was standing room only. Unfortunately they didn't give more shows - I would have went every night.
Our room steward, Devon, was so friendly, as was most of the staff. Washy-Washy lady was a big hit by the end of the cruise!
As for the pool area, we liked staying in the "solarium". It wasn't as noisy as the main pool area and we didnt' have trouble getting chairs.
Disembarkation was just annoying - waiting around as on every other line. No major problems though.
We had a fabulous time on this cruise.
