Hectic, but enjoyable.

Sail Date: May 2014
Destination: Baltic Sea
Embarkation: Copenhagen

Cruise was 12 day with 2 sea days and stops in Tallinn, St Petersburg (overnight), Helsinki, Stockholm (overnight), Warnemunde, Kiel, and Copenhagen (overnight).

We flew into Copenhagen a day early and took HAL's pre-cruise package at the Palace Hotel. We had a bit of a problem at arrival in that we missed the rep who was there to meet us. It was quickly resolved and we were on the bus to hotel. Hotel room was comfortable and the location was excellent.

Transfer to the pier was no problem. We were at the new terminal which is much farther from the city than the old one. After a bit of confusion about proper lines in check-in it went very smoothly. They had quite a few agents working the counter so it moved quickly.

Our rooms were ready upon our arrival at about 1:30. We had a balcony cabin midships on deck 8 and I was very happy with the location. The cabin was spacious and very comfortable.

I really can't find anything that I did not like about the More ship and it's crew. We ate in both the Lido and the MDR and found the choices and quality of the food to be very good. Service in MDR was very good. We ate at 5:45 (table of 4) and made most of the shows at the 7:00 time. (Shows were at 7, 8:30, 10).

The shows were all entertaining. There were several with the ship's singers and dancers, a violinist, a singer, and a comic/magician. The BB King Blues Club group also did one. Speaking of which the Blues Club show in the Queen's Lounge was super excellent. Can't say enough about it. Evening entertainment also included piano bar, dance music, disco, guitarist throughout the ship. I don't know how late things went because we never stayed awake long enough to find out :).

We had gotten the Explore 4 promotion which gave us a Signature Beverage Card and a Pinnacle dinner. The beverage card worked smoothly and we came nowhere near to getting 15 drinks a day. Pinnacle dinner was excellent although we messed up in booking on formal night, not realizing they would not sit you without a jacket. Luckily they had two available although mine was brown and had small stains, and my friend's was way small. Gave the wives something to laugh about.

The crew was very friendly and did an excellent job of keeping the ship clean and neat. Our room was made up quickly each morning and was always ready at night. We purchased the unlimited laundry program and it was well worth the cost.

All in all, this was one of the better cruises I have been on and would recommend it to anyone. Less

Excellent cabin. Nice size veranda, room for two to move around and very convenient to mid-ship elevators.
