We started the trip off at the Hilton Hotel in New Orleans the night before the cruise. The cruise company had representatives there that afternoon who were very helpful and informative. You checked in for your cruise the following morning which went very smoothly. You were assigned your seating for dinner then too and sorted out what shore excursions you may want to take. We boarded more or less at the time suggested and were welcomed aboard by several members of the crew. Found our cabin easily which even though compact was very comfortable . Stateroom attendant was very good and accommodating if you needed anything extra.

The decor on the ship is beautiful. It is all done with the era gone by in mind. the shore excursions were plentiful and the hop on hop off buses were great. We tried 2 of the garden excursions which were fun even though we went way off schedule which resulted in us not being able to see us much of the ports as would have liked, which was a little disappointing. The food was excellent and the staff in the main dining room were truly excellent and couldn't be faulted as they always made sure you were well looked after no matter what meal you went in for. Disembarkation was well organised in Memphis. I was sad to leave as had had a really good time.

Cabin Review

Compact but well laid out and comfortable. Plenty of storage space and the ability to place suitcases under the beds made a big difference. The bathroom was certainly very good. Cabin attendant (Jennifer) was excellent too.
