We have two boys 10 & 12, so when we cruise it is about the on board activities. Never been to Bermuda. Check in was the quickest experienced...we have been on approx 10 cruises. Room was fine...we get the most inexpensive...with the boys beds that come out of the wall. The ship holds almost 4000 people, so if you don't like crowds....this is not the ship for you. Even with so many people, we were always able to find seats in the dining room, the common areas and the buffet. We did not go to any restaurants or shows costing extra. The Rock of Ages show was great...it came with a parental warning for kids, which was necessary...we did take our boys who at their age love the talk about body parts...there was a stripper scene...so depending on your kids maturity and previous exposure you may want to reconsider. The dancing show was good...even the boys liked it....comedian/magician was OK...really liked Second City Comedy. The ropes course is great...many options from easy to challenging when navigating. My 12 year old loved the basketball court..made lots of friends. The 10 year old loved the mini golf. Dinner was great every night...there are three free dining room choices...all have the same menu. We dined in the "Savor" room every night...the staff was great. The "freestyle" dining times was very convenient to plan evenings. I liked the fact we didn't have to sit with strangers, but yet were able to have the same staff each night...we love when at dinner, George and Abby knew our preferences and we had great conversations getting to know them. Bermuda was OK...the boys are not into historical sites so we went to Horseshoe Bay...very nice...bus ride is long again crowded. The crowds were not so bad...arrived around 10am and even around noon...there was still space further down. I would suggest taking the van up the hill, but my husband and the boys walked it like it was no big deal. Went into the city of Hamilton...wouldn't recommend...not much too see but the ferry ride was nice. Last day went to Snokel Beach...cute...smaller...rented snorkel equipment but seems to be only one kind of unexciting silver fish. They like cheerios which will attract them...one bystander was bitten...so be careful. Debarkation was easy...we decided to let the cruise deal with three of our four bags. You can either carry your luggage off yourself or pick the time you want to debark. Easiest we ever experience. Great vacation...didn't want to get off the ship...definitely recommend!!

Cabin Review

Room was what we expected. Nothing good, nothing bad. Not a ton of shelf/drawer space. Lights go on/off when inserting ship card in a slot....so this way you can't leave lights on when you leave but if you are trying to charge something while out of the room you can't unless you leave your card inserted.
