We booked a balcony cabin for the Carnival Magic and a few weeks before our cruise we were offered an upgrade. The only upgrades that were available was a Junior Suite or Grand Suite. I had done a lot of research and knew that I did not want the Junior Suite (primarily because on location). I really just wanted an Ocean Suite. I told the Carnival rep this and they split the difference - I got the Grand Suite for just a little more that the Junior Suite!

Quick list of positive things:

Water Works (my 6-year-old loved it!)

Cabin Review

Awesome cabin! Lots of storage room (3 closets, dresser, dressing area drawers, desk); Double sinks in the bathroom plus small sink in the dressing area; Whirlpool tub; large balcony with 3 chairs (one lounge chair plus two regular chairs); Close to the Atrium elevators, but not TOO close!
