I am from the UK, Gay and travelling with my partner and was unsure of what to expect of a cruise departing from New York, with a cruise line that i had read was renowned for its mainly older american crowd (i had only visited the US once before).

I had been on several cruises with UK based cruise lines and i have to say that overall the guests and staff on this ship were some of the friendliest i have encountered.
