First time P & O cruisers and was expecting more. Carpets in public areas and bedrooms have seen better days, even though cabins were comfortable nothing outstanding. Bed linen was of poor quality and changed infrequently (towels changed every day though).
Food in Oriental and Peninsular was good but nothing spectacular or outstanding, but regular P & O passengers were complaining as the food was plated up for dinner and not silver service, so called to save waste but a lot of uneaten vegetables went back (off our table at least) buffet food was average for lunch (didn't have breakfast or evening meal there so can't comment). Didn't try speciality restaurants.
drinks on board were not too expensive a bottle of the cheaper range wine would cost us £14+ a 175ml glass of wine £4+, beer were also reasonably priced no dearer than your local pub.
