Sail Date: Jan 2007

This was our first RCI cruise. We have always sailed with Celebrity previously and are in our early sixties. We both enjoy cruising , fine dining, and dancing in the evenings.

We arrived in San Juan around noon and thanks to Cruise Critic Boards went to the orange taxi stand outside to arrange for transportation to the port. Out driver was friendly and informative. They told us what our fare would be and we did not have to wait. The cost depends on the number of bags that you have and it cost us $20.50. Check in was breeze we just walked in and onto the beautiful ship and were greeted by the friendly RCI

We wondered around the ship finding our way and snapping pictures. It is so beautiful and with a nautical theme carried throughout. We had our first lunch at the Windjammer buffet which is buffet style with many different stations, no waiting , and lots of seats. They have a self serve low fat frozen yogurt dispenser to make the best ice cream cones with.
