We took the April 22, 2014 19 day "Explorer" cruise, which was 7 day Rome to Rome and 12 day Rome to Copenhagen back-to-back combined cruises. It was my 14th cruise (including 2 river cruises) and our 6th on Holland America. I have read several of the previous reviews, and I'm (surprisingly) not as negative as the other posters - but not enthusiastically wild about it either.

The good:

Cabin: Our cabin was always clean, and the cabin service was very good. When we boarded, we asked the steward for ice in the cabin at all times, and he did that without fail. He was attentive and friendly. 5* Read more
