We cruised to Ensenada. Was originally worried about having small children on board a ship (our kids are 3 and 4). However, fears of the kids going overboard were soon calmed after boarding. Most railings are glass. There are several areas with actual rails, but, the rails are close enough that its not really a danger. We gave the kids a serious talking to about climbing the rail including the threat that if they did, they would be confined to the room for the duration. That seemed to work.

The waterpark was a Huge hit! The youngest is almost potty trained but still has so.e accidents. Swim diapers aren't allowed so I was a bit worried that she wouldntbe able to enjoy the pool. But, it worked out. We just made sure they both went to the bathroom before entering the pool and then took regular potty breaks. They also loved mini golf. Another big hit was the board games in the library. It was a great alternative when it got too cold for the pool.

Kids menus in the main dining room, too. Wonderful idea. We brought toys for the kids and they didnt use them once. Too busy having fun on board. Would recommend this cruise for anyone. Including families with small children. Thanks carnival for a great vacation and wonderful memories!
