This was our 9th cruise and the 7th with Carnival. We were looking forward to a fun week with friends on one of Carnivals fun ships. Driving to the Port of New Orleans and parking was very easy and we were allowed onboard early.

The Dream Atrium was nice with plenty of seating. We were on the 7th floor, aft, with a balcony. There was plenty of space in the room but the closet was right across from the bathroom and it was impossible to open one without closing the other. That made getting dressed a little uncomfortable at times. We could only find one outlet for the room/bathroom so trying to keep electronics charged was difficult. Each night we were awakened by banging and popping noises that sounded like someone doing repairs above us. On a positive note, our room steward kept everything clean with fresh towels at all times.

The halls on each deck are very narrow and many times we would smell a sewage odor while walking to the elevators.

Cabin Review

Room had plenty of storage. Good size bathroom and shower. Banging and popping noise all night kept waking us up. Not enough outlets to charge electronics, could only find one.Balcony looks out over barrels.
