Great time on the Summit!
Embarkation: Bayonne (Cape Liberty)
Just returned from Celebtriy Summit 5/18- 5/25. We travelled by car to Cape Liberty from Cape Cod area.
The travel and parking were incredibly easy. The transition over to boarding and customs were well mapped out and quickly completed. On the boat in maybe 20 minutes.
On the boat and explored areas of interest. Staff everywhere and helpful. Many areas to eat and drink available. We unfortunately attempted to eat at the Bistro on 5, poor service or inexperienced staff. We left without being served after waiting about 30 minutes. We found snacks somewhere else.
Cafe al Bacio had excellent service. Good coffee tea and treats. We even had bar service at the cafe enjoyed many glasses of Prosecco. We used the cafe area at all times for relaxing snacking and the frequent card playing.
We went to the buffet a few times. The food was what we expected. I am not a buffet person. The sushi was good but almost impossible to get after people found out about it. More We also ate early which cut out our sushi time. The servers and table attendants were always helpful and pleasant.
Martini Bar was enjoyable. The menu was fresh and interesting. We enjoyed the staff and appreciated their efficient service.
The MDR was our favorite. We had Michael and Gilmore as our Waiter and Assistant Waiter. Our sommelier was Prince. We had the best dinners. The food was excellent. If an item was not liked another option was brought. Many recommendations were made and appreciated. The wine was a highlight of our dinners. We actually had a favorite early on and it was always remembered. The premium beverage package was a great
Addition to our cruise. No worries about a bill at the end of the vacation.
Our time in the MDR was a highlight. We did visit the MDR for lunch a few times it was good 2 out of three times.
The pool area was busy but always a spot to sit. The pools themselves are small but serviceable. I personally don't want to soak in such close proximity to so many people. We enjoyed the upper decks many times to relax and soak up the sun.
We were able to utilize the upper decks 11 and 12 to exercise. We walked and did the stairs every AM. We attempted the gym a few times but very busy. We had a good routine before breakfast and had all day to relax.
Bermuda was a breeze. Getting on and off the ship was easy. The staff were there assisting travelers as needed. Transportation is a short walk away- ferries buses and taxis. The pass is a great tool for your travel needs. We bought the 2 day pass, $25 pp. We used the bus and ferry many times. Bermuda has many info areas in the town's filled with maps and brochures. We didn't do any excursions. We enjoy searching new areas on our own. Beaches are beautiful. Our favorites were Horseshoe Bay area is great for walking hiking swimming and soaking up the sun. St George area was nice.
We really enjoyed walking and shopping thru the town. Hamilton is a typical city.
I usually enjoy the city areas more. It was busy bustling with people. The city has the typical city highlights- buildings churches small parks and shopping. Less

We investigated the room at length before booking. We loved our room. Plenty of storage and space for two people. The balcony was roomy and perfect for early morning breakfast getting some sun and evenanother meal later in the day. Bathroom was comfortablefor one person. Luckily a nice vanity area in the room for the femalesto finish preparing for the day/evening.
