I will start by saying something positive. The ship was very clean. Our Stewart was was friendly, helpful, and kept our room emasculate . But, the ship had a bad odor. The smell of sewer was every where. In the lounge where they had entertainment the lower part where they had the most comfortable seating was the worst place on thee entire ship to smell the sewer odor. Most nights the food was not up to standard. We were given the optional seating instead do a designated seating time. Therefore our waiter never knew who we were and was not able to know what we liked as far as drinks to have ready for us. It was a hurry up and let. Me clear the table for the next group. The matradee was non existent. Instead of standing at the door and greeting people or walking around and speaking with people he was not visible except to look like he was talking hateful to the waiters. There was not a nightly entertainment in the big lounge every night. This was very disappointing to us since we are use to a big nightly entertainment on other ships. The staff was aware that the message light did not work on the phones.

The couple that was with us daughter had her baby 2 months early on Monday while we were on the ship and they were not notified Monday after her husband called the ship until the daughter called again on Wednesday saying it was an emergency and she needed to talk to her parents. There was no excuse that a note could have been put under their door on Monday. Heaven forbid but what if there had been something tragic that had happened to the baby or their daughter. That was totally unexcusable.

We were given a hard time whenever we tried to make a dinner seating time. Not having a set time we had to go check in every evening before we could even enter the dining room. If we wanted anything different we were given an attitude. We spent a lot of time waiting on elevators. They were impossible to get. They would sail right by your floor even though you had pushed the button.

Cabin Review

Our bed was extremely hard. It felt as if there were boards directly under the sheets. My back was a total wreck by the end of our cruise. The bathroom had a slight sewer smell to it. The washcloth fell over the drain one time and when I picked it up, it reeked of sewage .
