After reading all of the reviews about the Splendor, I was a bit leary. After being on this ship, I would go again without hesitation.
Getting to the port in Manhattan was, well, an adventure. We have never been in a city like that. I pretty much ducked and didn't watch the cab ride the whole way there. Also, cruising out of New York, I knew it would be cold, however, it was colder that it was in my home state. I would cruise out of New York again, but I would do it in the summer months.
The ship is pink, but not so much that it was really bad. I thought the decor through out the ship was pretty cool, I really liked it.
Cabin Review
Loved this cabin. The balcony size was double that of a regular balcony state room. There was plenty of room for two people. The bed faced the balcony so you could just lay there and gaze out to the ocean. It was very quiet also. There is no couch, however there is a little table and the desk with two chairs. I would book this room again
