Sail Date: May 2014

First of all, let me say that the service on our ship, as with every ship we've sailed, has been exceptional. We noted from the outset the ability of our cabin steward to remake our room into pristine condition whenever we stepped out for more than ten minutes. The service in the main dining room was quick, unobtrusive and efficient: glasses and bread plates were filled as soon as they became empty, while causing nary a hitch in conversation. Additionally, waiters in our area had diners in stitches with comedy routines and magic tricks, and this was the most we have seen from the head waiter on any cruise: he stopped by several times to chat and make sure service was up to par and even showed up to shell lobster tails for the table. We prepaid gratuities and then gave all our servers and stewards extra tips and they were well deserved.

However, there are a few things about the past week that make us hesitant to book a sailing on this ship in the future, and also possibly with RCI.
