We sailed May 11th. We have sailed with Celebrity on 9 occasions. This cruise was the worst experience with service that we have ever encountered. We have sailed over 40 times with various cruise lines.
We noted the lack of service in all dining restaurants. The wait staff was under staffed and over worked.
We sailed Aqua class so we ate in the BLU restaurant which is reserved for aqua class. Our waiter was serving 18 to 20 people at each seating. Far too many for good service. We found the same applied to the Cosmopolitan Restaurant when ate there for lunch, and the Waterfall Café Buffet restaurant on the 10th deck.
Never did we have our water glasses refilled without asking for water and then it was a long wait. Never did they offer coffee, you had to ask for it and then wait a long time. Never a refill offered on their shot glass sized coffee cups. On two occasion in BLU we left before we received our deserts because the wait had surpassed 20 More minutes and we wanted to make the nightly show. In BLU for breakfast your waiter was pot luck, and I ordered my breakfast and when it arrived it was not my order. I reordered and waited 35 minutes without receiving my breakfast. We finally left and went up to the 10th desk to the Waterfall Café and ate.
We have achieved the Elite status with Celebrity which has many Perks IE, Free dry cleaning and laundry, among other things. We will most likely not sail with Celebrity in the future because of our experiences with this last cruise. Their cut backs were very apparent and not for the good of the client cruiser. We paid a lot of money for our cabin #1133 and Aqua Class, save your money Aqua Class is not worth it.

Cabin review: Celebrity Summit 1133
Cabin Stewarts were excellent, they did a great job. Cabin 1133 is located on the back of the ship overlooking the wake and the BAR on the 10th deck. Cabin 1133 in on the port side which is the smoking side of the ship. Smoke from people on deck 10 would rise and , at times you could not sit on your own veranda because of the rising smoke. db..
