Sail Date: Oct 2013

We've sailed NCL 4 times. We have sailed the Jade twice. The first was out of Barcelona to the Canary Islands and Morocco. That was in 2011.The food was good and service and accommodations were fine.

Last fall, 2013 We sailed the Jade again in October into November. The itinerary was lovely and a very busy with 10 ports in 11 days. However the Jade was disappointing. It still sports it's Hawaiian decor from years gone by and the food was not good. The main dining rooms menus were very repetitive in their offerings. We opted for 6 specialty restaurants. The food in the Specialty dining room was not up to par either. It was somewhat dry and even the server in the Bistro did not recommend trying the lamb.

The rooms seem to have elimited some of the storage, i.e. the bedside tables with drawers but just being two we managed. There was a pull out in our room and if there had been a third person in the room we would have had difficulty sorting out clothes and items for 3.

Cabin Review

Small and lacking in storage for 3 persons. lack of power outlets as well.Bedside table needs drawer.Clean and comfortableBalcony needs a fresh coat of paint.
