Arrived at terminal around 12.30, where our luggage was whisked away and we queued for a very short time before checking in. All stress free and simple.

Our balcony cabin on A deck was spacious with lots of storage space and an adequate shower room with supplied toiletries. We would have liked a removable shower head rather than a fixed one and the shower curtain could have been an inch longer as water spilled onto the floor. Our steward Suresh kept the cabin neat and clean, with clean towels several times a day and sometimes a towel animal. We didn’t use the balcony much as the weather was rather cold and damp, but it was lovely to have the big floor to ceiling window to watch the scenery while keeping warm inside. Air con/heating was efficient. It would also have been useful to have a guide on how to use the TV .

I don’t know which school the previous reviewer went to, but mine certainly didn’t serve food such as we had aboard Azura. Superb food in the Oriental MDR, beautifully presented, tasty and always served piping hot. This is one advantage of plated meals; no waiting for the vegetables to be served to your fellow diners. We were served by the friendly and professional Francis, who always asked how our day had been.
