Overall, another great week with Carnival. Only second time cruising (last was on Liberty in March 2014) so did not know what to expect with different class of ship. Many other reviews made comments about overcrowding and long lines. Perhaps I can see the point on sunny sea days when the small pools would fill to the brim but that is not an issue for me as not much a pool user. Lines for buffet and any other thing I participated in were manageable but I don't think the ship was at capacity. Even tried to find out how many were actually on board but no one would tell me the actual number. Embarkation was just typical Carnival efficient. As long as you are checked in on line you can expect to be on board and in your room within 15-20 minutes from arrival. Was just as quick on both cruises (last on Liberty). Sorry Carnival, I would not waste the money on the expedited check-in. Crew was great - except the casino people were waaay to good at taking my money :-\. Didn't do specialty dining but food everywhere else was passable to great. No complaints. Significantly different ship layout than older Carnival ships and I have mixed emotions. Decor def much better than the 1970's Las Vegas theme of the older ships. Airy, open, lots of places to hide if you want to. Seems much more focused on indoor than out. Ocean Plaza and the indoor Red Frog always seemed deserted. Again that may have been exaggerated with less than full passenger compliment. S Caribbean ports were all great. Aruba and Curacao I would visit again.

Cabin Review

Splendid. Clean. Enough room. Well looked after by steward. Balcony overlooking the Promenade deck was a little weird. Prefer to look right down at the water rather than having people frying in the sun right below. Overall, no complaint. Would stay in this room again.
