This was our first cruise ever and as we know Disney well as Vacation Club members we decided on Disney. The entire trip was wonderful. The ship was very clean, well maintained, and busy. Despite there being many, many children onboard, the adult pools and sun decks were very quiet so you had control over the activity.
There were activities all day, primarily for kids as you can imagine. If we have a complaint is that some of the activities that we would have enjoyed were quite late at night - 10:00 to 10:45. Maybe it was intended to tire out the kids but I don't think that it worked. After a day of sun and sea air, sleep came easy so we missed the late night activities.
The food was terrific. I appreciated the small portions (could have as many refills as you like) as it made it easier to control calories intake. The one time that we went to a breakfast buffet showed us how easy it was to over eat. The food was well prepared and each meal there was a choice of More appetizers, soup/salad, entree, and dessert.
The staff service was exceptional - whether in the dining rooms, decks, housekeeping, or other services. Everything was looked after efficiently and in a timely way.
The Disney Cruise was perhaps more expensive than with other cruise lines but we received Disney quality and had a terrific time. Less

Cabin review: Disney Fantasy 5532
We would want this cabin again as the larger veranda was terrific. I really liked the split bathroom. Both of us could be getting ready for the day at the same time. The furniture was comfortable as was the bed. The air conditioning worked well. Being our first cruise, we were a little surprised at how small cabins are but it worked well for us.
