The good and the bad
What a nightmare to get on the ship, arrived at white bay terminal and no signs or directions given by staff as to where the luggage goes, then we here "have your passport and green card ready when you get to the window", what green card, ask a staff member and reply " you will get that at the window" a child who already has a green card asks if she wanted to get us one, of course it was handed to her by the same staff member who refused us,,,,
ON THE SHIP
Yep, they always try and sell you drinks, but that's there job - if you say no, they don't harass you.
Didn't have much to do with the captain however my thanks goes out to the crew, from house keeping, waiting staff, kitchen hands and the like, you guys really made those sailors dressed in there whites look good.
A SPECIAL THANKS
Goes out to Marie who looked after 10288, thank you so much for the towel animals, my sons face lit up every time we opened the More door when he saw a new animal you had made.
FUTURE CRUISE SALES
Bah !! she just fobbed us off.
Don't stay on the boat, get off and see the Islands, the locals are friendly and helpful
BE WARNED, for children take powdered hot chocolate or something as there is little choice for the kids
A bit the same as boarding, goto the marquee for disembarkment talk, was made VERY clear that NO notifications would be made, meet at designated time in designated room, no one knew what to do, the other meeting room had notifications.
I feel P & O should waive their 1.5% credit card fee as a credit card registration is encouraged at the time of check in, not to mention the time save by staff not having to deal with cash on the ship.
