Royal Caribbean once again exceeded our expectations. The Explorer, soon to be refurbished at the end of the summer and possibly have a new itinerary in Europe, was fabulous in general, despite her age. We had read so many reviews, it was hard to know what to expect.

We had absolutely NO problem with embarkation in Bayonne. Every member of the staff that we encountered, without exception, was courteous and solicitous. This included cabin attendants, waitstaff,

Bartenders, Concierge and Officers. They seemed genuinely motivated to making our cruise the best possible and they succeeded.

Cabin Review

Great location (port forward.) Comfortable and roomy enough. Mirrors galore. Lovely bathroom with LOTS of storage. Deep tub with shower could be a problem for those with mobility issues, but great for those that like a good soak. Nicely done. No complaints.
