Can't wait to go again!

Sail Date: March 2014
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Leaving from New England we took a chance being a March cruise and it could always snow. But, we flew out early that Saturday morning. We arrived at the airport on time. To save some money we took a taxi to the port. its normally a 5min ride but on Saturdays with the cruises coming in and out so it took 10mins;). it was around 1130-12pm and we were able to get through the embarkation process very quickly. It was very organized.

Once on the ship we stopped at the table selling the drink packages. We decided on the $55 a day per person package (it included tips). We found this package was perfect for us! We never ordered anything that wasn't included in the package either, from Beer, to mix drinks, frozen or wine.

The ship was AMAZING! We then spent a lot of time in Central park for lunch the roast beef sandwiches hit the spot for lunch (we went a few times through out the week). Then we cruised the ship and found our balcony room.

The room was wonderful and More our room steward was great. the pillow was flat and i asked for another one after the first night. he brought me 4 to choose from:)

Our days at sea were sent learning the wave pool. my boyfriend and i both paid for the lesson and it was worth it. my BF spent so much time he was a real surfer by the end of the trip. Me, i never stood up but i loved it.

we ate each night in the main dining room at 830, our waiter was wonderful and so were our meals. most nights he would even bring us a dish to try along with the meals we ordered. yes i gained 5lbs:)

We had pre-reserved on the website the water show at the Aqua theather and were smart to get their early for seats as it fills up fast. We did the same thing with the show "hairspray". both were wonderful.

We dont have any kids, but the little kids water area looked really cool for toddlers.

our cruise took us to Haiti first. i had booked an early Zip lining excursion and i was so glad i did as it did get into the 90's. We had never zip lining and don't normally like heights. WE LOVED IT! We then decided to go jet skiing, again it was an awesome experience. after all that fun we were hungry. the BBQ the ship provided was really good. now it was time to relax and the water was perfect.

Next stop was Jamaica, we had done dunes falls on a previous cruise and after reading a lot of the excursions i was disappointed with the long bus rides of an hour plus each way so i found a snorkel trip right out side the gate. It was a newer excursion, it was pricey for what we got but i still enjoyed it. then we went shopping and had lunch on the pier.

our final stop was Cozumel. we decided on the Mayan ruins. there was a 45min ferry ride to the main land then an hour bus ride. the ferry boat was a bit rough. a few people were getting sea sick. so it was nice when we got on land:) the ruins were worth the whole trip.

we were sad when the cruise came to an end.

Since our flight was at 1130am we choose the early disembarkation and to take our own luggage. We were off the ship even faster than i thought. we left our room around 630 and were at the airport by 650 Yes 20mins to do it all!

When we returned home my boyfriend said "best vacation yet!" (mind you i took him on a cruise on another line 2yrs ago... ) Less
