The best holiday ever
The NCL Spirit provided us with everything we could possibly want from a holiday and more. My teenager, enrolled in the teen club, and had so much fun there, meeting friends from around the world that we only saw him at meal times and for excursions. My 11 year old joined the Splash academy, and loved the entertainment and crafts that were provided for there. The staff at the teen club and splash academy, did an excellent job at looking after them. The entertainment on board was top class, and there was definately something for everybody. As for the food, not once did we feel that we needed to splash out and go to one of the speciality restaurants, that have a covert charge. The complimentary food on board was excellent. The raffles court buffet, had a wide selection that covered all food tastes, and was also great for a grab and run meal, when time was at a premium. The staff on board, be it, the cabin attendee, the photograpers, the excursion staff, the guest relations, Splash and teen councillors and the entertainment comittee, were all professional, polite and willing to make your holiday a pleasant one.
The ship itself, was great. It certainly was big enough that we never felt like we were overcrowded or swamped with people.
We loved the freestyle ambience of the cruise. It was our holiday, and we were free to eat when and where we wanted to, wear what we wanted to (within reason of course), and attend which ever show we wanted to.
We will definately choose Norwegian Cruise Lines as our cruise line of choice if we cruise again, and will certainly recommend it to friends. Less
