My wife and I were very disappointed on this cruise. There were three issues we had that really upset us. The first problem was the fact that our toilet did not work the majority of the time. Now, this is a major pain as we need to have a working toilet. Especially when needing to use it after we went to bed. My wife and I would have to get up, get dressed, leave our cabin and go up a floor or two to use a working bathroom. Again, this is a major inconvenience to begin with when we are up, let alone at 3am. Imagine you are at your house and have to use the restroom at 2am. You would have to get up, get dressed and walk outside to your neighbor's house to use the bathroom. That's what it felt like. Plus, the floor smelled of human waste the whole time. When we complained about the problems, we were told, "Sorry, this is a on going problem on this floor." Really? That is something my wife and I did not want to hear. With diseases on cruise ships, I would think the proper handling of waste would be a huge concern.

The second problem was the applied discounts on our sign and sail card. We were gold members and had a BOGO on wine and beer and 25% off coffee, along with other offers. My wife went to get a coffee and was told that the discount was not on the card. On the first night of dinner, I got two beers and was then told that we did not have the discount on my card. My wife tried to use her card for some wine but was told the same. When we went to guest relations the first time, we were told that this was an on going problem with the computer system. Again, this is something I do not want to hear. An ongoing problem? Really? The person then told us to just charge it to our card and on debarkation day, we can just come down to dispute the charges. My wife and I cruise a lot and we know that guest relations is not the place to be on debarkation day as a lot of people are always in line. When I went back the next day to see if the system was fixed, it was working and the credit was now on our cards.

Lastly was our server on the first night. The wait staff was very confused and did not seem to be working together. Our head waiter seemed to be more like a comedian than a head waiter. Also, when the problem arose with the BOGO, our waiter just told us there was a problem and looked at us. It was a very awkward moment indeed as there was a long pause of silence. Then he responded to the fact that it was not him or his fault so do not blame him. We didn't, but we were curious as to why he did not pursue the issue. My wife and I both knew the next night we were going to sit elsewhere. We did.
