This was our 3 rd carnival cruise .... This was our worst experience of the 3! We booked a room for 4 people my husband , myself and our 17 year old son and my 76 year old mother. I booked our cruise with a phone representative from carnival! Upon boarding the ship we went directly to our room they were still cleaning it which was fine but I noticed only 3 beds?? King and a upper bunk.... I went out to the hallway and found our Steward and inquired about the 4 th bed ?? He said we bring a cot in at night! My reply.... Where will u put it?? He said there is room don't worry ! Well the cot was a very THIN mattress that was 4 inches of the floor !! My arthritic mother absolutely could not get down that low to sleep .... Nor could she climb a ladder to sleep in the top bunk. It was EXTREMELY CROWDED almost impossible to get up and use the restroom in the middle of the night without waking up the cot sleeper ! I went directly to the desk they said sorry ship sold out and overbooked !he said call your booking agent ... I replied I called carnival direct he said sorry! The room was DIRTY! A dirty Kleenex and tooth flosser left on the floor under the small bedside table... Had to ask for soap to wash our hands none left for us.... The bathroom mirror had vulgar drawings on it that were only visible when the mirror was steamed over from the shower .... obvious it had not been washed!!!! Food was sub par .... Never hot barley warm! Pizza line was constantly 20-30 min wait only bringing 1-2 pizza out at a time! So frustrating!! Bahamas was very disappointing ( not carnivals fault ) natives rude and aggressive ! I do not need to ever go back there!! I would rate our overall experience a 3!! This experience has soured me for sure
