I have taken 11 cruises and each time have had a great time. This was my second and last Royal Caribbean cruise. Simply put the beverage service was HORRENDOUS. My wife and I wanted to have a mimosa with our breakfast. After waiting at the bar in the morning for over 20 minutes we left. After breakfast we decided to get a drink. 2 bartenders working with a line 4 people deep. We waited 30 minutes. Yes 30 minutes! and left with no drink. We found the bar in the Solarium. I am a former bar owner. These were 3 of the slowest bartenders I have ever seen. After 20 minutes we were finally served. This was the norm everyday. When you arrive at the bars people are shaking their heads saying such things as "Can you believe this?" , "Oh my god", "This is ridiculous", etc. When they finally get served they look at you and say "Good luck" or just simply leave shaking their heads.

We were sitting on the second pool deck getting some sun. Cocktail service was non existent. After about 45 minutes of no one coming around a friend of mine went downstairs finally found one the few waiters available. Service was so bad we gave him $25.00 to just keep checking on us. While upstairs on the pool deck we noticed ONE other female cocktail waitress come up to our area twice all afternoon.

While at the solarium bar one time, I noticed a ship supervisor wearing a white shirt.. I approached her and showed her the bar service and how backed up it was. How she did not see this on her own is unbelievable. She apologized and said yes they need more help I will get some. Never happened!
