This was our 3rd time on the Dream and we loved it. We had an inside cabin on deck 6 and it was adequate. Laxt year we had an outside plus however we couldnt afford the extra cost this year. This was the first Med cruise of the year with the ship returning from the Caribbean. As said in previous review we were luck lots of brand new sunbeds were unveiled on the last day of the previous cruise so we got the benefit of them. The weather was amazing except for our day ar sea when it was rainy and windy. Lots of people sea sick as were myself and my hubby. We were told it was extreme winds at sea from 3 directions. We have never experienced this before and hope not to repeat again. The sun shone everyday aft this, and it was scorching. The entertainment in the theatre was top class and much better than last year, some excellent singers and dancers. We thought the drinks package was good with lots of choice, and when we booked we got it at an offer price of £200 per couple so only £100 each. Although the food was good we feel it has gone down since previous cruises, they do seem to push the steak under the stars and grill, which are at an extra cost. We did like the Orion restaurant anc the waiters only want to please. We don't do the Thomson excursions as they can be expensive but we do our own thing and it is fine, Thomson give you a map of each port every evening. We always travel independently and book our own flights and then book cruise only through Thomsons - it works out so much cheaper and we have a few nights in Palma before our cruise. Looking forward to next year!
