Sail Date: May 2014

Our favourite cruise to date, our first being on the Thomson Celebration 7yrs ago (plus more recently, Cunard's Queen Victoria). In our opinion the Dream is better equipped than the Celebration and more comfortable. The entertainment was superb, just as we remember from Thomson last time. Food was very good too (the free tea and coffee around the ship needs improving though).

We chose this holiday for the itinerary and the price. What we got was fantastic value for money and a variety of destinations (Spain, France & Italy), all enjoyable in their own way.

Less formal than our experience with Cunard, with a very relaxed and friendly vibe. Service was very good (although to be picky, the speed of drinks delivery could be improved a tad). We gave the drinks package a miss: seemed expensive to us, particularly as additional supplements are payable for 'premium' drinks. (The wine package is better value though and worth considering - details at embarkation).

Cabin Review

Our cabin seemed slightly more spacious than on the Celebration. We slept really well, despite being on a low deck, at the rear of the ship and beneath the disco! No rattling fixtures this time.Incomparable to the size of our equivalent accommodation on Cunard though - you get what you pay for.
