Wonder of the Seas: Oasis of the Seas Cruise Review by WelshC

Wonder of the Seas
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)
The 3 main public areas work well with lots of interest in each and they were each different. A quieter time in Central Park, activities on Broadway and the hustle and bustle in the Promenade.
The variety of the eating establishments also surprised us and it was nice to have lunch in the health food Solarium one day, the American fare at Johnny Rockets another, salads and sandwiches amongst the greenery at Park Cafe and so on.
However, the biggest surprise was the quality of the shows. We attended every one and some twice and they were certainly up to professional theatre, ice, water, comedy show standards that you would be happy to pay for. Also it is difficult More to think what else RCCL could do to make the cruise fun with parties in the Promenade and themed processions etc.
Our cabin was smaller than on our last cruise on the Holland America Amsterdam, but adequate and clean. Our balcony overlooked the boardwalk, but situated towards the stern so in addition to people watching, we could see the sea at the stern and also the film screens and aqua shows from our balcony. An ocean view balcony cabin appears boring now. Less
