Sailed one of the California Costal cruises on the Crown. Embarkation was a three hour line to board through one door with no explanation and incredibly poor communication from anyone representing Princess.

Ship was bland in decor, really no wow factor and way too crowded. My least favorite ship in over 85 cruises. Our cabin steward vanished after night three and on night five another one showed up and never seemed to understand when to turn the room down at night and never replenished any elite amenities. The Horizon court was the worst casual eating restaurant at sea, always confusing, crowded and food was poor.

We ended up eating in Sanatinis most nights just to escape the mediocre food and crowds. Crown Grill was rushed and nothing special
