Sail Date: May 2013

This was my second time cruising on Majesty of the Seas. It was the same itinerary both times but I absolutely loved both of them and highly recommend this cruise for any first time cruiser. It is a four day cruise that embarks from Miami, FL and sails to two islands in the Bahamas and to Key West.

The onboard experience is excellent as it has several shops and food bars to keep you busy while on the ship. The Windjammer Café is where we ate most of our meals. It has a wide variety of food so if you like exotic, new foods or just a hamburger, there is something for you. There is 24/7 pizza and room service and also ice cream by the pools. No matter what you are craving, you will be able to find it somewhere on the Majesty. There are also a variety of shows to keep you entertained as well. Unfortunately, for us, we were only on the ship in the evenings after exploring all of the ports of call so we did not go to any of the shows because we just wanted to relax. That is not to say there isn't enough time to do everything you want.

The staff on the ship is very friendly and professional and made sure we were always taken care of. Our cabin was always cleaned and refreshed when we would get back in the evenings. The towel animals are always nice to come back to. Our waiters in the dining room were also very on point. They explained everything on the menu to us and even tried to persuade us to get seconds and thirds. In the dining room you can get whatever you want and as much as you want. If you want 3 appetizers, 4 entrees and 5 desserts, that is what you'll get. The staff on Majesty of the Seas really does an excellent job of making your cruise as enjoyable as possible.

Cabin Review

The cabin is small but there is enough space for two people to be comfortable. My second time on this ship we had the beds converted into a king which does take up some floor space compared to the two twin bed set up. We had an obstructed view cabin which meant that right outside our window was the jogging track but we still had a beautiful view of the ocean.
