I have read with interest reviews on this and other sites, and witnessed how bitter and twisted some people are with their reviews. This is an old lady who is showing her age just a bit, she is not gleaming with all the bells and whistle of the modern day vessel, what she does have is bags of character and a fantastic happy crew. We joined the ship in Barbados on the 27 night repositioning cruise, and on boarding the ship we were made to feel like part of the family, the cabin was spotless, and of course you could see evidence of wear, the beds were very comfy and had a good nights sleep every night. The food was nice and varied every day, my only minor comment here is that there is not a lot of a selection of veg on the evening meal. The entertainment, which was not to my taste every evening was of a good standard. Afternoon tea and cakes was a nice touch. We did not have the drinks package, and found the pricing was reasonable. If you smoke, I must say I have not seen them cheaper not even in Gibraltar (400 super king black for £44.00) and even cheaper on 15% days. We were that pleased with the whole experience that we were considering doing a further week once we reached Palma. One big negative on this cruise was that one chap and his wife were moaning about every aspect of the ship, the crew and food from day one, I know people say you always get one, I think this couple should come with a health warning!
