This was the first cruise for myself and my DH. There are so many things I want to include in my review because we saw and did a lot during our 7 day Western Caribbean cruise. Embarkation from New Orleans went much faster than I ever thought it would. It took maybe 30 - 40 minutes, but that was mostly because our customer service agent had computer issues that wouldn't allow her to go faster.

We were in 7215, empress deck, and I think we made a great choice by getting this room. My husband and I loved being in a balcony room! Even if there wasn't time to sit on the balcony, it was great to have our own private area in which to view the water. We had great, quiet neighbors. I'm a light sleeper and was worried that I'd have to put in ear plugs but our end of the hall was serene throughout our stay.

Our cabin steward, Rommell, was attentive and always smiling. Excellent, prompt service. We took photos of all the towel animals he made for us and will email them out to our friends and fam soon.
