First off let me say this was our first cruise with Princess and it was just so-so.
Ship- The ship it self was very clean and very beautiful. The ship however tend to rattle and shake quite often. We missed having a nice viewing area in the front of the ship but the gym was where it is normally on different ships but the Crown had it in the back of the ship with the Mini Golf above it so you could hear the balls rolling if people were playing. I must say though Princess does an excellent job with the design and the decor of the inside of the ship.
Cabin- We had two inside cabins. They layout was GREAT! Best inside cabin we have ever had. The only downside was our room rattled like no other.
Crew- The crew is what saved this cruise. Every single one of them was super nice and helpfully.
Service/Food- Embarkation was soooo slow waiting in line for about an hour and half, we got off the ship relatively quickly tho. The food was just ok throughout the whole cruise, very hit and miss. The pasta's were great but everything else was ok. The main dining room experience was one we have never had before. Our poor head waiter was all by himself. We had no bar or assistant waiter the head waiter did everything. Every once in a while a drink guy would come by to help but not often. We felt so bad for our guy, he was running all over the place. The main dinning took FOREVER, at least 2 hours plus. We ate the Crown Grill which was AMAZING! Highly recommend eating there, worth the $25.
Overall- Our cruise was just ok, nothing ever really wowed us. Would we cruise with princess again maybe, many people who we talked to on board who have cruised with princess said something seemed off on this cruise.
