After many cruises with RCI, Princess, and Celebrity, DH and I decided to try Oceania. French Polynesia was on our bucket list and this ship and itinerary were perfect. Oceania is definitely a step up from RCI and Princess, but we felt was equal to Celebrity.

The food in the specialty restaurants was very good and we ate many nights in the Terrace Cafe where the grilled lobster, shrimp, and steak were hard to beat. We weren't to pleased with the MDR and only ate there twice. This is where Celebrity excelled. The entertainment was fair to good, but we weren't expecting it to be great. The service was outstanding and the best we have ever had on any ship. We were in a veranda cabin and it was lovely and well taken care of by our cabin attendant. We would have liked a little more livelier music by the pool on sea days, but it certainly was not a deal breaker for a future cruise. We will definitely sail with Oceania again.
