Traveled on many Carnival ships but this was the first time on the Magic. Done these ports before so I was really looking forward to the cruise itself. I will say that this was the fastest embarking and disembarking that I have ever done. 13 in our group and all had a good time. The BEST WAITER that we had every had. Our last night we went to the Steak House and he even came there to tell us good bye. Amazing how everyone on the ship stays up beat, cordial and smiling all of the time. Love the Serenity Deck away from all of the kids Suite was great and comfortable as always and our steward was spot on. Negatives: as always I don't like all of the photographers blocking pathways to different venues. I would have bought all of our pictures had they been realistically priced (ashamed to see them throw all of those pictures away when they could have sold them. Wish they would have had the same wait staff for Breakfast as they did for dinner. Food for dinner (main dinning) was a little disappointing as compared to past trips (variety and quality was not as good). The biggest disappointment was the SMOKE in the Casino. You stunk every time you went back to the cabin. Even though they had no smoking areas it was just terrible. Air movement sucked....or maybe it didn't. Good side of all of that...I couldn't stay long enough to loose as much as usual. Was not able to see all of the show because they had so many that were one show only. What I did get to see was excellent. The late night comedy I'm sure was great but we didn't get to see any because they were booked up all three performances. The adult comedy is something that I want to see on every trip. They should have had some of them in the main theater some of the nights that it wasn't being used. Piano bar singer was awful. Karaoke was fantastic to listen to and watch in both locations.

Cabin Review

Stayed in this category before and will keep doing it. Plenty of room and nice balcony. Love the separate dressing and bath. Lots of storage....she brings a lot of clothes. Perfect location on the ship.
