Norwegian Jewel  January 28 - February 4, 2007

My family including my wife (37th anniversary while on ship), son, daughter-in -law,daughter, and son -in law all traveled together. Since both of our kids got married this past year I reached in the wallet for a once in a lifetime cruise in the Garden Villa.

I booked a hotel via the internet for the night before the cruise to make sure we could get on board to the cabin as soon as possible. I booked 3 rooms at the Days Inn Civic/Port Center because it looked like a good deal and it had a free shuttle to the airport and the port. BIG MISTAKE the driver told us not to leave the building because it was not safe (we noticed that before he said anything), it was very old and not at all clean, attempting to get the free shuttle was a disaster and none of the help cared about the problems over 50 people had getting a shuttle. EVERYONE was upset about the quality of the hotel and the staff. IMO you should avoid this place!
