New Ports, Great Experience
Had an excellent cruise through Indonesia, Malasia, SirLanka, India, and Oman. We are on the Dolphin Deck (1st passenger deck) and have late seating for dinner at a table for 8. Our service has been first rate although the staff have a heavy load. We are addressed by name and our preferences remembered. The bellman felt bad about this and went to the kitchen and got some ginger which he made into a special tea for us. Then to top this, he went to another ship when we were docked and somehow caged some candied ginger from them. Yes, probems do happen on cruise ships and sometimes we dont get the response we want. But our experience is that the staff, within the constraints imposed by the crusie line, do the best they can. We follow the Golden Rule and so do the staff. Less
