Cruising was something we both were in no hurry to sample but after taking our first cruise on Journey to celebrate our 60th birthdays we can't believe we have waited so long to join the cruising community! We only booked a short 12 day cruise in case we were not enjoying ourselves but when the final day came we were both very reluctant to leave our cabin which had been our home for the voyage. We had a great time and after settling in and getting used to life on board we found we could spend our days as busy or as chilled out as we chose to be. It was up to ourselves.

Our verandah cabin was terrific and we did not have to lift a finger thanks to our attendants Dustin and Edgar. Thanks guys especially for the little personal touches which we would find after you had been in.

We enjoyed sampling all eateries on board and would recommend others doing the same. Can't say we were bored with what was on offer, with choices for somewhere to eat and variety of food that should suit even the fussiest of eaters. We liked the fact you can choose where you would like to eat and who you would like to sit with on all occasions. No set seating or times imposed.

Cabin Review

Plenty of room for storage in cupboards and under bed. Good layout. Loved having our own verandah. Ate breakfast there at least half the mornings of our cruise. Nice also to sit and have a quiet read, a drink or just to watch the world go by.
