Ship Facts: Celebrity Silhouette Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Silhouette Deck Plans
Sillouhette - Little Tidbits

Left Fort Lauderdale Sunday Apr 13 for 7 days. So let's be smart, people. There are complementary art classes on Deck 15 but you gotta be in it to win it. We should have immediately signed up for complementary classes but didn't.The room holds twenty people, maybe. Although one of the first on board around 11:15AM, wasn't aware of free participation first-signed in, first-served and blew it. Was told would put our names on a "waiting list." Fuhgeddaboudit.

Ship had lots of in-the-shade lounge chairs, around the pool. No problemo. Complete dearth of entertainment.Your at sea for 2 days, lets get the live music started around 11:30AM, and perform for 2 hours. Instead, a 45 minute live music and that's it.

Now, here is a secret. Assumiing you guys are adults, there is adult comedy called sin city, from Las Vegas. Yes, its the real deal, pee-in-you-pants hilarious. The problem is its in the celebrity lounge that holds maybe 250 people. The first nite the show started at 10:00PM. What you gotta do is get there 40 minutes early. We got there at 9:20PM They let you in about 1/2 hour before. That's what my wife and I did. So worth it. The placed was filled to overflowing by showtime and people stood to see the show,, some with obstructed views. It ain't worth it. Get there early, sit in the theater, they have a funny las vegas movie to watch and see an incredible las-vegas style review. Incredibly worth it.

Finally, yeh, gotta eat dinnah, you know what I mean, people? The early sitting at 5:45PM is too early, the late seating of 8:30PM is too late so we got "anytime dining." However, it is time to use some brain power. You can book a "reserved" anytime seating up to 6:45PM eating time by calling up the dining room a day in advance, maybe 2 days in advance. (No reserved seating between 7Pm and 8PM) The advantage is you can come at 7PM and you don't have to wait 35-40 minutes because you already have a reservation. We asked to be seated with other people to meet people. No problem. i have no patience to wait 35-40 minutes, so you gotta play the game. What it costs you is you gotta pay your tips in advance, but I believe in paying these tips.

The 1 week cruise went fast. very few kids, fairly good food. Of course, save your belly for the lobster which is on nite 6 in the dining room. Enjoy the tidbits!
