A holiday we had all been looking forward too, a break with family and friends, we are a group of 3 families consisting of 6 adults and 6 children with ages ranging from 13 to 19. We all headed to Sydney on the Monday before our cruise (which left on Wednesday the 2nd of April), my husband, daughter and I stayed at the York by Swiss bel Hotel which was wonderfully located and an easy walk to the cruise terminal, I would definitely stay here again as it was lovely and we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment so the space was appreciated before we spent 10 days in one cabin. Spa, pool and sauna got a workout while we were there.

Our group enjoyed a full day on Tuesday enjoying the wax Muesem , sydney eye, aquarium and wildlife park, which were located close together then we had a beautiful walk along the water from Darling harbour to Circular Quay, under the harbor bridge to the Opera house, it was a beautiful look around the area.

Wednesday we walked down to the overseas terminal at 10 am and dropped our suitcases off with the Carnival staff then we headed off for a walk to the Opera house to grab a coffe and enjoy the view of our ship while we all got more excited about boarding her.

Cabin Review

An extended balcony cabin, plenty of storage, decent size bathroom, we managed to have enough room for 3 and the balcony came in handy for the extra space to relax at any time of the day or night.
